One of the most common questions I receive when couples inquire about wedding photography is “Do you have packages?”
The honest answer is no. At least, not in the traditional, one-size-fits-all sense. Instead, I offer custom wedding photography collections, and that choice is very intentional. Every wedding day is different. Every couple values different things. And your photography coverage should be designed around your day, not forced into a preset structure that may or may not fit.
When couples trust me with documenting one of the most meaningful days of their lives, I believe the experience should feel personal from the very beginning. No two wedding days unfold the same way. A relaxed celebration with an intimate guest list looks completely different from a large, luxury wedding with multiple locations, a full timeline, and a packed reception. Some couples dream of a slow morning with their closest people, soaking in every moment as they get ready. Others prioritize emotional first looks, private moments before the ceremony, or extended portrait time. Some weddings are nonstop energy from start to finish, while others are calm and intentional. Because of this, it never made sense to me to offer identical packages for every couple.
Traditional photography packages often create unnecessary limitations. They can include hours you don’t truly need, exclude moments you deeply care about, or force couples to make decisions based on price instead of experience. I’ve seen how restrictive timelines can lead to rushed portraits, skipped moments, and unnecessary stress, and I never want my couples watching the clock or feeling like they have to squeeze meaningful moments into a narrow window just to fit a package.
Custom wedding collections allow me to design coverage intentionally around your day. My collections begin with a base starting price, and from there we build something that makes sense for your wedding. During your consultation, we talk through your vision and priorities, your timeline, venue details, whether you’re planning a first look or a traditional aisle reveal, how much time you want for portraits, and how you envision your ceremony and reception unfolding. From there, I guide you toward the amount of coverage that best supports your day, without overdoing it or leaving anything important out.
Some of the most meaningful images often happen in between the big events. A quiet hug with your mom, nerves settling before walking down the aisle, laughter during toasts, or a private moment together at the end of the night. These moments can’t be scheduled perfectly, and they don’t always fit neatly into a limited timeline. But they’re often the moments couples treasure the most.
Offering custom collections isn’t about upselling or pushing couples into more coverage than they need. It’s about storytelling. My goal is to capture your wedding day honestly, fully, and intentionally, so when you look back at your gallery, it feels like a true reflection of how the day felt.
Custom collections are especially suited for couples who value storytelling over rigid timelines, who want their day to feel relaxed and unrushed, and who care deeply about the in-between moments just as much as the big ones. They’re for couples who trust their photographer’s expertise and want coverage that reflects their priorities, not someone else’s.
